Open letter to the Delhi and central government.
Today, again, I woke up to a sore throat and could literally feel the pollution flowing into my system. I think it's time we call out the government, for not being able to control pollution in the national capital.
This is the same government which has taken multiple radical decisions from demonetization to removing 370 but pollution is something to hard to tackle.
To put the icing on the cake, government officials fail to show up on meetings on pollution, only 4 out of 29 officials were present to attend a high level meeting on pollution and the absentees include some top politicians. Is this what we voted for?
Even the odd even doesn't seem to helping, but is that the only measure we are left with. We are in a living hell and nobody cares. It's time to very openly call out those who have failed and proved utterly useless in fighting pollution.
The AQI level for London is 15, New York is 30, around 20 in japan and Delhi nowhere close, it's around 500 and sometimes goes above 1000. We are effectively living in a gas chamber.
I want to ask, what is the government doing? Does it even care for the people anymore? Or politics is all they are left with.
The condition is too severe but this time taking to the roads and demanding government action is not an option because then we'll be inhaling this toxic air. The only option left to us is to revolt through written word. Yes exactly this.
Share this as much as possible and call out the government for their failure in tackling pollution. Don't ask which government to blame because they are both sleeping. We have to wake them up!
It's now or never! Share!
